Based in the Cotswolds with a diverse range of neutral and calcareous grassland habitats, this course will allow you to develop a degree of confidence in the identification of common plants of UK lowland grasslands. The day is largely field-based, with a short classroom session. Particular attention will focus on the accurate identification of grasses and flowering plants commonly associated with improved, semi-improved and unimproved agricultural grasslands. As the content complements that of the ‘Phase One Habitat Survey’ course, a 10% discount is available on the total cost when both are booked together.
